There was a time when young soccer players on Vancouver Island had to leave home to chase their dreams. For Island-born players, opportunities were limited and recognition was few and far between. For every player that made it to the pros, countless promising athletes hung up their cleats. But times have changed. A new era has arrived. And with it, a promise: The Sky’s The Limit.
Pacific FC’s latest kit is more than just a jersey—it’s a statement. Draped in the vast, limitless blue skies of Vancouver Island, it symbolizes the journey of every young player lacing up their cleats for the first time. It honours the growing wave of youth soccer players on Vancouver Island, each one stepping onto the field with dreams bigger than ever before.
This kit is a tribute to the pathway that now exists, carved out by Pacific FC. We’ve seen it firsthand as Victoria born and raised Sami Keshavarz made his professional debut at 17 years old, progressing through the academy to the first team. The game is growing in Canada and soon more will follow his path. From grassroots local clubs to the professional pitch at Starlight Stadium, the dream is no longer distant—it’s here, it’s real, and you could be next. Consider this a call to the next generation: to dream boldly, to train fiercely, and to believe that one day, they too can represent the Island they call home.
On matchdays, when our players step onto the field, they do so not just for the badge but for the thousands of young eyes watching from the stands, knowing their journey could lead them here too. かつて、バンクーバー島の若きサッカー選手たちは、夢を追いかけるために故郷を離れざるを得ませんでした。島でのチャンスは限られ、注目される機会もごくわずか。プロの舞台にたどり着けるのはほんの一握りで、数えきれないほどの有望な選手たちがスパイクを脱いでいきました。しかし、時代は変わりました。新たな時代の幕開けとともに、一つの約束が生まれました。「The Sky’s The Limit.」
